  • Since 1997 he is Chaired Professor of International Public and EU Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

  • Since 1992 he holds the Jean Monnet Chair in EU Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

  • Since 1983 he is Professor in public international and EU law at the Diplomatic School of Madrid.

  • Between 2015 and 2016 he was a visiting professor at the Institut des Hautes Études Internationales of the Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II).
